I bought a bike for my birthday. Ever since moving to Pasadena, I've wanted to ride around town. I've had this bike for less than 24 hours, but here are the reasons why I already know this is the best purchase I've made in a long time.
1. I feel like a kid when I ride it. It's been years, but there's something ridiculously magical about rushing through the wind on a bike. It's incredibly freeing and an easily accessible joy when needed.
2. I can power over to the grocery store and bring home food on this thing. No more fighting for a parking spot at a crowded Trader Joe's on a Sunday afternoon.
3. A little bit of extra exercise never hurt anyone :)
