Charina has studied acting since childhood, beginning at the Duluth Playhouse Conservatory, continuing at Viterbo University, and most recently with Joel Spence at UCB, Anthony Meindl, Scott Sedita, and Killian McHugh in Los Angeles. She has over ten years of stage experience.

She made her professional debut at The Shack Theatre, starring as Janie Johnson in Alone Together, followed by Goldilocks in The Trial of Goldilocks with Renegade Comedy Theatre.

Charina was based in Los Angeles for 7 years. During that time, she was a music consultant and songwriter for Lineage Entertainment Group. Additionally, she assisted them in creating AllHeart Seminars, which provided cost-free acting instruction in collaboration with Homeboy Industries, and Eastside Poetry, which provided a space for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and heal through art. She remains deeply grateful for her formative experiences with Lineage, as it allowed her to realize her dreams and become eligible to join the Screen Actor’s Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

In 2019, she also worked with the Black Eyed Peas and was an assistant on their world tour.

Charina is currently located in her hometown of Duluth, Minnesota. She was hired as a Speech coach and drama director at Hermantown High School and is continuing her education at UMD, studying Communication Sciences and Disorders.
